User education

Terkko offers user training services by arranging courses and informative meetings.  Courses can be tailored to serve the special needs of customers. The training focuses on information retrieval in databases, electronic journals and other digital sources but we also display the latest trends and technologies.

In user training we initiate the students into the information resources used by the library customers (Medline, EBM,
e-journals e.t.c) and varoius tools of managing electronic resources (reference management, current awareness).

Informative presentations of
Terkko´s electronic services

We arrange informative presentations to demonstrate Terkko´s electronic services for the staff of HU and HUCH. The research and working groups are welcome to an 1-2 hour presentation of our digital services including also questions and discussions about using these services.
